We’re fairly well into the Autumn season and our main competition is the League Trophy which is played for by teams within the Club. Drymen also plays in competitions against other Clubs within the Forth & Endrick area (Province). One of our members, Janet Simpson, got a ladies team together with 2 players from Drymen and 1 past member who is now in another club. Calling themselves the “Black Caps” they ended up winning the Emily Tate trophy, which is open to ladies from all clubs. This format helps in allowing teams to be created if there are not enough ladies within the one club interested in playing.
